“I have been a customer of Paul Schultz and Erie Insurance for many years. At 8:00 pm on August 8, 2018, our neighborhood in Smithfield, North Carolina was hit by a downdraft or tornado that tore down many trees and caused great destruction. Our home was clobbered by two large pine trees that punctured the roof in ten places. We had broken windows, drenched sheetrock, and a destroyed roof.
At 9:00 am on August 9 (13 hours later), Paul Schultz was standing in the street in front of my house. The entire street looked like a war zone. Paul walked up to me, shook my hand, and said: “Gary, we will make your house right”.
Over the next six long months, I realized that Paul Schultz was a man of his word. I heard stories from my neighbors about their insurance coverage and the service they were getting. As I listened I realized how fortunate I was to be covered by Erie Insurance and to have Paul Schultz, John Ely, and Tony Tice on my side.
I realize that many people across the nation and the world have had their houses totally destroyed by storms. My wife and I are blessed.
I want to commend Paul Schultz for all his help. Paul Schultz and Erie Insurance made my house “right” again.
